The following details the building’s recycling and trash program:
- Blue Containers: To be used only for the approved recyclables (listed below).
- Brown Containers: To be used for Trash/Landfill Products (listed below). It is recommended that these bins are only kept in kitchens, conference rooms and high traffic areas. These containers are lined with trash liners.
- The nighttime janitorial cleaners will collect the contents of the recycling in clear liners and food waste in larger brown liners. Due to safety and health concerns, the cleaners will not sort the contents of either the blue recycling bins or the brown trash bins.
- In the Basement Trash Room, the brown bags are placed in the brown dumpsters and the clear bags are placed in the blue dumpsters.
